Some of the common mistakes made in Class Test (2):

  • The representation of the reading of a electronic balance will be the exact same reading as what is featured on the display.

(c) Mass of each block = 2.020 g



  • 3 dec. plc. should be given to the answer as this is the accuracy of the electronic balance featured in this question.

i) The time taken for one oscillation increases with the length ( True )

Longer distance more time is needed.

ii) The time for a large swing and a small swing is the same ( True )

The time taken for oscillation is only affected by the length of string (distance) and not by other factors.

  • To test the purity of ice, we will observed that ice will melt exactly at 0 degC

Q1. Explain what is meant by the term "mass"
The amount of substance/matter packed in an object.
  • Weight is the weight is a measurement of the gravitational force acting on an object
  • Volume is the amount of space a substance occupies

**Things to take note during planting**



  • Remember to WATER your plant daily. (But if it started to rain, then you do not need to water)

  • Have a BACKUP. (Plant some of the seeds at home using cotton wool and water. When it grow to a small plant then transfer to the soil)



  • RECORD your findings (take pics, measure the height of plant, observe the appearance of plants, etc)



  • Finally, BLOG it !!
